Cleaning for a Reason – The Foundation that Cleans Homes for Women With Cancer

I just heard of this wonderful foundation called Cleaning for a Reason and wanted to pass the information along to my readers. Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit organization that offers free professional house cleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.

Cleaning for a Reason partners with professional residential maid services who are insured and bonded to participate in their foundation. The companies have agreed to take 2 patients at a time and offer four free general cleanings – one a month for four months as a way to give back to their community.

The foundation does limit the amount of applications that they accept on a daily basis Monday through Friday. The applications can be filled in online by women with any type of cancer as long as they are currently under cancer treatment.

Cleaning for a Reason is an awesome non profit organization, I would say. Cancer patients really need it because of their low immune system. Over all, everyone must maintain cleanliness for always.

I have heard of this service just recently. What a great idea! I think the more people that know about it and spread the word, the better. I am going to do just that!
