No, I haven’t lost my mind…..these are actual products!
That’s right these new products: Uggs for Dogs, Zombie Repellant, the Cookie Dipper and Zimbi Super Alien Juice (to name a few) are all in competition to get on the shelves of Walmart.
Walmart is holding a contest for small businesses called “Get on the Shelf”
This means you Etsy Shop owner!
How Does it Work?
Submit a video of your product to Get On the Shelf and then, when voting starts March 7, rally your family, friends and fans to vote for it. That’s it. Simple. Any product in any category currently covered by Walmart is eligible – from housewares and electronics to toys and apparel. Learn more here .
This is an American Idol-style contest! The voting will determine 3 winners and their products will be sold online. The grand prize winner’s product will be sold in Walmart stores.
Here are some of the products in this contest!

- The Cookie Dipper. Finally, kids will be able to drink their cookies and milk and not have to worry about creating a soggy cookie mess.
The boys love dunking their Oreos in milk. Giving the Cookie Dipper a test drive wouldn’t be a stretch for us.

- Zimbi Super Alien Juice
There are four different Zimbi Super Alien Juice flavors that come in aerodynamic bottles that can be used as flying toys after they’re empty. Each bottle can be thrown more than 100 feet.
Okay, a sweet juice drink that can be used as a flying toy? Say no more.

LOL I’ve seen “monster spray” before – I actually think that’s quite a cute idea. But doggie shoes? Um, not so much!

Hello all, even though your product may not make the final vote, the exposure from this
contest is worth being in it, my product the Dirt Snatcher is one of them, it has a lifetime warranty. I believe providing a quality product to Walmart would be a welcome addition. Since being in the contest my youtube views have shot up about 300% to where they were. By the way, link to my product if you are curious http://getontheshelf.com/product/207/Dirt-Snatcher
thanks for viewing!
Good luck to all that enter.
These products are so funny! Cant wait to see what other products are submitted for this contest.

Dear Lord., we’ll buy anything! *smh*
I can’t believer there are uggs for dogs LOL
Kristi, so glad you’re blogging about this! I’m the creator of Miss Stephanie’s Potions (Zombie Repellent being just one of my products! I also have Monster Armor bath products (covering your kids in monster armor for all night protection), fairy attraction products (these fairies bring sweet dreams) and a number of other Monster Be Good sprays (they keep monsters away if you spray them around your room, but turn monsters into friends if you spray directly on the monsters!)
So glad to get the exposure for my company, which I started this past year to rid my house of my zombie infestation (this, according to my 7 year old son). My products are green and 100% natural. Hope people like them and would love to hear from more moms!
Well… I have to admit that the puppy boots are adorable. The rest of the stuff is too far out there for me.
This really is a neat site and will be checking it out.
