The Journal 10+ is unlike your average one year journal, or blank page journal. This is a ten year journal that includes a long-term planner, a 12 year calendar, address and phone log, and extra pages for keeping track of items and special dates. I received the journal 10+ for review and one Moms Own Words reader will receive their own Journal 10+.
Journal 10+ Review
When I did a college internship at a local hospital in the public relations department, one of the requirements was to keep a journal of what I did on a daily basis. It is so nice to have that journal to look back on and see what my daily life was like back in the olden days. I read that I was interviewing nurses in Cardiac Rehab. department and working on stories for the monthly newsletter and local newspapers – people still read newspapers back then!
Since my internship all those years ago, I have tried and tried again to keep a journal. I always started out with the best of intentions and would write four or five pages on my first day, and then the second day maybe a page and then after a few days, the journal was already squirreled away in some drawer, forgotten about.
The Journal 10+ is just the journal to break the cycle. The reason why? When I open to Jan. 29, I am not looking at a blank page. In fact, I only have about four lines that I have to fill. The rest of the page is filled with that same date for the next 10 years. I would love to compare what I did Jan. 29, 2012 to what I did on Jan. 29, 2017. (Let’s hope I am not doing the same thing and hoping for a different result.)
I can handle a few lines a day. It will be fun to look back and see the small stuff like – what sports the kids were playing, what movies we watched, books we read etc…We are going on vacation in February to Disney for the first time. I am glad I will have the journal 10+ just to jot down a few words about the attractions we experience each day to look back on. The last thing I want to do on vacation is spend a ton of time writing, so only having a few lines to fill will be nice. If I find I have more to write, there are extra pages to take care of that.
I started writing in the Journal 10+ yesterday, and I look forward to today’s entry. You never know what the day will bring! In fact, I am challenging myself to write something everyday for the next 11 years!
It’s nice to start the journal on the day I choose and to know that keeping it up will only require a few minutes a day. The Journal 10+ is also a record keeper and a planner to keep me organized. The payoff will be having this complete- 11 year- family memory book.

I think I would concentrate on the nice things that happened through my day – even if it was just one thing.
I have not kept a journal in the past, but when I was younger I kept a diary.
I did keep a journal in the past:) I would write the best things that happened in the day! Thanks for the Giveaway!!
I have had many journals in the past, but haven’t kept one for a few years. I got too busy. I want one now to write the funny things my kids say in it, so someday I will be able to print them out for them and give them.
I would journal about being a mom so my daughter could have it when she got older.

I’d like to gift it to my son. He’s a journaler and in college; I’d love for him to chronicle his path through school and beyond.
I love the fact that you can look at days from the year before with this. I have kept all manner of journals and they all fail for whatever reason… I think the smaller spaces would really help me keep up with this one.
i’d try to make short stories.
Yes, I’ve kept a journal! I record daily moments…grandkids, hubby, pets, home, travel, etc.

I have kept many journals over the years. I kept journals with words for my daughters that I have shared with them after they became adults.
I share the joy of my life to read again when I am having a bad day.
If I won this I would use it to keep track of my fitness goals and watch my progress as I aim towards my goal of running a marathon

I haven’t kept a journal since I was a kid. I think I’d write about the days events, especially important things and day-to-day happenings. Be fun to look back
. Thanks!
I started keeping journals when I was a teenager. As the years go by, though, I find myself slipping more and more. This would be a great way to get me back to it. I think what I’d journal is highlights of the day, or things that I’d want to remember. Maybe a quote sometimes… and I’d use it as an extended family record, too, for births, parties, etc.

I have kept a journal in the past. I love to jot down the events of the day. I think I would use this to record not only the events of my day but talk about my kids as well
I haven’t kept a journal since I was like ten. I think this would be a great way to share my son’s childhood with him and give it to him when he is old enough to appreciate it and can read about the high points (and low points) of his childhood.
I haven’t k,ept a journal in a long time. I would right a gratitude journal daily.
I do keep a journal for each of my kids. I have stage 4 breast cancer so I record everything I want to tell them.
