Review of Product: I was excited to try the Toss and Chop. A product that can make light work of chopping vegetables into salads is a product worth investigating! I appreciate the fact that the Toss and Chop can be used with any bowl. I put the Toss and Chop to the test with some tough vegetables – onions, carrots and broccoli. The onions were coarsely chopped in less than one minute. The carrot was easily chopped into coins and the broccoli was easily chopped into small florets.

I had another idea. My Mother-In-Law makes Cole slaw often and she spends approximately 1/2 hour from start to finish to chop up her cabbage and carrots into very small diced pieces.  She uses a  kitchen tool that looks like a double wheeled pizza cutter in a special bowl – very time consuming and her arm must be killing after all that pizza wheeling! She has to use a special plastic bowl as well!

I dumped a bag of coarse coleslaw into the bowl and started chopping away with the Toss and Chop.  This tool covers a lot of ground in one chop! In less than two minutes I had this beautifully diced Cole slaw. Guess what my DMIL is getting for her birthday?

I look forward to chopping up some tomatoes and making my own salsa. This following video, produced by Silvermark, accompanied the tool that I received.  See for yourself how the Toss and Chop is used.

NOTE – The inventor of the Toss and Chop is Wendy Silver, a stay-at-home mom of two. Oprah Winfrey was so impressed with the Toss and Chop, Oprah featured Wendy on her show twice and the Toss and Chop made the “O List.“  Read more about Wendy here.
